Frankie Dees

American Water Ski Educational Foundation Award of Distinction 1996

Inducted into the Florida Water Ski Federation Hall of Fame 2003

Frankie Dees of Mulberry is without a doubt the water ski competitor with the most wins ever to ski at the national level; he was winning consistently as a Junior Boy in the early 1960s, having qualified for his first Nationals in 1961. In 1994 he set a 166-foot Men 3 jumping record off a 5-foot ramp that still stands. He continues to compete at the regional and national level.
