Jim McCormick of Seffner has been one of the sport’s trainers of champions for years. He has also made his three-lake ski site available for numerous major tournaments, including the Pan American Championships and several U.S. Water Ski Team Trials. Jim’s competitive career was cut short by a knee injury in 1958, when he began concentrating on coaching. He emigrated from his native Missouri to Florida in 1967, which allowed year-round coaching.
