Leo Bentz of Miami was the “inventor” of the Ski Nautique. He made and used the first few models of this water ski inboard before selling the rights to manufacture to Correct Craft. At the time, Leo was operating a highly successful ski school in Miami Beach and he continued his interest in water skiing while attending law school and later as a practicing attorney. He has retired from competitive water skiing.
