Inducted into the Florida Water Ski Federation Hall of Fame 2006

Mark Crone of Maitland has been involved in water skiing as an athlete, volunteer and industry member for more than 30 years. He has served on the board of directors for USA Water Ski, the American Water Ski Association, and the American Water Ski Educational Foundation. He won two national slalom titles and one Masters’ slalom title. He was instrumental in developing and writing the computer program that is used in the seeding of all of the Regionals and Nationals and currently works on the ranking list program that is being used by USA Water Ski. He has retired from competitive water skiing.
