William W. (Billy) Spencer

Inducted into the Florida Water Ski Federation Hall of Fame 2003

William W. (Billy) Spencer of Winter Haven and now residing in Nantucket, Massachusetts was one of the quick rising stars of water skiing. He rose to the water skiing pinnacle in 1963 when, at the age of 13, he won the Masters’ slalom title, made the U.S. Water Ski Team and won the slalom, tricks and overall titles at the Water Ski World Championships in Vichy, France. He has retired from competitive water skiing.
