TWO U.S. TEAMS SELECTED FOR 11TH CAN AM CHALLENGE

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports and the American Water Ski Association’s International Activities Committee are pleased to announce the selection of two water ski teams – Under 14 and Under 17 – that will represent the United States at the 11th Can Am Challenge, Aug. 28-29, at Skyview Lake in Harmony, N.C. The event features athletes from the United States and Canada competing for team titles only. The AWSA’s IAC chose the teams based upon a pre-approved selection criteria.

Athletes that have been selected to the 2021 U.S. Under 14 Can Am Water Ski Team are (alphabetical order): BG Bickley (Macon, Ga.)Bennett Covington (Martindale, Texas)Claire Covington (Martindale, Texas)Cameron Davis (Oviedo, Fla.)Julie Mishler (Milford, Ind.) and Camryn Waters (Lady Lake, Fla.). Alternates to the team are (alphabetical order): Freddy Davis (Oviedo, Fla.) and RJ Teter (Cumming, Ga.).

Athletes that have been selected to the 2021 U.S. Under 17 Can Am Water Ski Team are (alphabetical order): Will Blair (Mooresville, N.C.)Elizabeth Hall (Newnan, Ga.)Samantha Hoops (Coatesville, Ind.)Gage Kacprowicz (San Antonio, Texas)Chase Sparks (Dallas, Ga.) and Connor Walsh (Lakeland, Fla.). Alternate to the team is Wesley Blair (Mooresville, N.C.).
